Commonly used elevator traction wire rope has two kinds of structures, warrington type and Seale type. At present, the elevator wire ropes generally use the Seale-style structure, of which 8X19S is more used. Most of the rope cores use oil-impregnated fiber rope cores. The available cores are sisal and jute cores, usually the diameter is 8mm, 10mm, 12mm,13mm,16mm.
